The Milton Rotary Club is sponsoring a Schwan’s Truckload Sale to help the many community organizations and service projects it supports. Schwan’s has been offering a wide variety of food and ice cream products through home delivery since 1952.

The procedures are VERY simple, but it will require you to pick up and pay for your items on Saturday, September 29, 2012 between the hours of 10 and 3. A limited number of additional items will also be on sale from the Schwan’s trucks the date of pick-up.

Pick up will be in the parking lot of Dr. Michael Craig, whose office is conveniently located at 155 South Arch St. View map and get directions to 155 South Arch St. in Milton.

Payment -

You can pay by cash, check or credit card – you do not need to submit credit card information on the Internet, just in person on the day of pickup.

Online Ordering:

The very simple procedures are as follows (Please note all orders must be entered by 9/26/12):

  1. Visit the Schwan’s website (www.schwans.com) to see what is available, quantity and prices.
  2. Write down the item number (code), quantity wanted and a brief description and price of the desired items.
  3. Visit the www.schwansfundraising.com.
  4. On the top menu, click on Place an Order Online
  5. Enter the campaign ID #40404 so the Rotary Club receives credit for the sale. After entering the number, click on the TAB key to auto generate the info for the Campaign.
  6. Scroll down and enter your items (See #1) in the space provided. Use the tab key to move the cursor from field to field, as the enter key will take you right to SUBMIT the order.
  7. Remember to scroll to the bottom of the page and click on SUBMIT to complete the order.

Order by Phone:

If you prefer NOT to do the order online, follow Steps 1 and 2 and then call 1-888-724-9267 to place your order. Give them the campaign code – #40404 to ensure credit to our club. You will still need to pay and pick up your order on September 29.

The Milton Rotary Club conducts a number of fundraisers throughout the year in support of organizations such as the Milton and Montgomery House Libraries, the Milton Harvest Festival, the American Red Cross, and Boys and Girls Scouting. It also provides scholarships and dictionaries to students, has purchased new flags for the Gov. Pollock Bridge, lent a hand at the Milton Community Pool this summer, and provided four Shelter Boxes (tents and related materials) for earthquake relief in Haiti.

Rotary welcomes guests at its weekly meetings held each Monday at 12:15 p.m. at the Watson Inn, Main St., Watsontown.
